  • Many may recognize Floyd Lewellen as James Rockford's dad from "The Rockford Files". Tom Selleck actually guest-starred twice on The Rockford Files, making the connection even more interesting.
  • At the tour greeting reception, Bull has his cigar in the center of his mouth as he walks across to the tour guide, but in the shot as he sits down, it suddenly jumps to being on the right side of his mouth. This belongs in the Goofs section, not Trivia.

Quotes Edit

Cindy Lewellyn: Mr. Magnum, I just know that if anybody can find my father... you can.

Magnum: Hey, how'd you know this was my car?
Cindy Lewellyn: What else would a man like you drive?

Bull Radney: Let me explain something to you, son. You see, where I come from, a shot and a beer is one drink, and a compliment is something you don't ever want to take back. You understand what I'm saying?

Magnum: I'm trying to tie up the loose ends, Floyd, you know, like those TV detectives.

Magnum: Higgins, it's not my fault!
Higgins: You continue to drive a car you do not own, do not rent and do not even wash. And while you were driving that car, it suffered $2,700 worth of damage! Had it been parked in the driveway of Robin Master's estate, where it belongs, it would have suffered none. It is your fault.
